To individual customers, SYSTEM 3E offers the comprehensive service of building a house in a shell condition (unfinished interior), based on typical designs, custom designs, or adaptations. The SYSTEM 3E customer advisers carry out the process of building the house from beginning to end, providing support also in formal and legal issues, such as obtaining a building permit. To developers, SYSTEM 3E offers sales of 3E elements for the purposes of smaller or larger development projects, e.g., single-family, row, and semi-detached housing estates. 3E elements can also be used as wall filling in buildings with skeleton structures. What is more, System 3E can be applied in the construction of industrial halls and farm buildings.

SYSTEM 3E is ecological since the main ingredient of 3E elements is perlite – a natural mineral of volcanic origin, extracted from the Earth’s interior using the open-pit mining technique. Perlite reaches pH = 7, thus providing the best protection against mould, algae, and fungi. Also, it is an ideal solution for people struggling with allergies and asthma. Another reason why building a home based on SYSTEM 3E is ecological is that it does not require the use of waste-generating materials such as styrofoam or mineral wool. Moreover, the production process of 3E elements at the Radomsko plant is completely neutral for the environment. We are socially responsible and do not emit any waste gases or fumes. We take care of the natural environment.

SYSTEM 3E is energy efficient because perlite, from which 3E elements are made, is an excellent insulating material. The coefficient of heat transfer through walls erected in SYSTEM 3E is U = 0.226 W/m2K. For example, electricity bills for an M2 house with an area of 145 m2, compared to a building with similar parameters constructed in the traditional way, can be up to three times lower. Moreover, the production process of 3E elements at the Radomsko plant is characterized by low energy demand. This is thanks to the fact that all the heat gains are immediately transferred to the high bay warehouse, i.e., the place where 3E elements mature.

3E elements consist of natural perlite and mineral binders. The details of the formulation are a company secret. The mixture has been designed so that 3E elements could maximally benefit from the excellent properties of perlite, i.e., resistance to temperatures ranging from –200°C to 900°C; chemical inertness and sterility; thermal insulation; sound absorption; moisture resistance; mould; fire resistance; vapour-permeability; volumetric stability; protection against insects and rodents. Thanks to this, 3E elements are friendly to human health and the whole natural environment.

This is possible because the shape of the crest of each 3E element alludes to the special inclination angle of the Morse taper. This results in a system of surfaces that self-anchor in the wall. Thanks to the modern production process of 3E elements, they are precisely executed and perfectly fit together. Walls built in SYSTEM 3E are very durable. We have confirmed this based on a series of tests of the walls’ compressive, bending, and shear strengths. SYSTEM 3E meets all Polish and European standards in this respect.

This is possible because natural perlite, of which 3E elements are made, is an excellent insulator. Thanks to this, the coefficient of heat transfer through single-layer walls erected in SYSTEM 3E is U = 0.226 W/m2K, meeting all Polish and European standards. The lack of the need for insulation brings with it one more (very important) convenience. Walls erected in SYSTEM 3E allow water vapour to migrate out of the house. Walls erected using traditional methods do not have such capabilities. Styrofoam, as a petroleum derivative, effectively blocks water vapour, causing humidity in the house.

No. Thanks to the unique shape and precise execution, 3E elements fit together perfectly (any possible differences are merely 1–2 mm). Therefore, in combination with the reinforcement layer (fibreglass mesh with façade glue), and later with external and internal plasterwork, walls erected in SYSTEM 3E provide excellent protection against the formation of thermal bridges – better than walls built using the traditional method, where the mortar aids thermal bridges.

We provide a 30-year warranty on walls made of 3E elements, 10-year warranty on the structure of the house (foundation, roof framework), and 3-year warranty on other works, e.g., the execution of the flooring, plasterwork, and façades; electrical and sanitary systems; roofing. In the case of complementary materials, i.e., doors, windows, garage door, furnace, and radiators, the warranties of individual manufacturers apply.

3E components leave the factory in perfect condition. In order for them to reach the construction site in an unchanged state, it is necessary to ensure proper transport conditions (much like in the case of cellular concrete and structural clay tiles). If it turns out that a 3E element is slightly crumbled, it is possible to use the so-called repair mortar that comes with the order, maintaining its high quality. However, these are chance events, analogous to other construction technologies.

We recommend erecting walls on a foundation slab, which is characterised by a simple structure and high load-bearing capacity. Moreover, since it requires fewer earthworks, it is executed quickly and without problems.

The first layer of 3E elements that lie directly on the foundation does not require joining with the use of mortar or glue. The weight of the whole building ensures stability of the entire structure. However, there is one condition: the foundation must be executed according to good building practice, i.e., levelled with great precision at the places where the walls will be erected.

The permissible number of storeys of a house built in SYSTEM 3E is 2.5 (about 9 metres). In other cases, e.g., in development projects above 3 storeys, 3E elements work perfectly as a filling. Walls are erected very quickly and do not require mortar or additional insulation.

All the ones available on the market. For our part, however, we recommend dry structuring in the form of gypsum boards. The R&D Department at SYSTEM 3E is developing a system of partition walls made of perlite. The works are at a very advanced stage and soon the solution will appear on the market.

The external walls erected in SYSTEM 3E are first covered with fibreglass mesh and façade glue, and then with any plaster available on the market, be it mineral or resin-based (silicone, acrylic, silicate). We recommend the latter. Internal walls, on the other hand, are covered with gypsum plasters or cement-lime plasters – this is a market standard too.

SYSTEM 3E allows to use a traditional roof framework. However, we recommend application of prefabricated roof trusses, which shorten the time and reduce the costs of construction. Prefabricated trusses do not require involvement of carpenters, who are so difficult to find on the market.

These elements are installed the same way as in a traditionally built house – according to rules and guidelines provided by manufacturers of specific windows, doors, and garage doors. For our part, we recommend layer sealing installation with the use of vapour-permeable and windproof tapes.

Yes, of course. In walls erected in SYSTEM 3E it is possible to drill holes, make openings and wall chases, without detriment to their durability or strength. It is possible to hang various interior fittings on them, e.g., mirrors, cabinets, TV sets. In this respect, SYSTEM 3E does not differ from other house building technologies.

SYSTEM 3E enables the use of any heating technology. However, being responsible for human health and the natural environment, we recommend application of one of the three options: natural gas, renewable energy, or a heat pump.

Yes, it can. As a technological company, we favour all solutions that are environmentally friendly. According to various estimates, the use of mechanical ventilation with heat recovery, i.e., the so-called recuperation, reduces the house’s energy demand by 20–40%.

Yes. We allow for three possibilities: realization of a typical design selected from 7 available on our website, adaptation of a design purchased from any architectural studio, or execution of a custom design ‘tailored’ in cooperation with our architects. Although 3E elements have specific dimensions, we are able to manage even the most architecturally demanding projects.

For example, building the walls of an S1 house in SYSTEM 3E takes 1 day. Bringing such a house to a shell condition (unfinished interior) – only 3 months (provided, of course, that in the meantime nothing unexpected happens at the construction site). For comparison, construction of an identical house using the traditional method takes at least 6 months.

Walls erected in SYSTEM 3E are very durable. We have confirmed this based on appropriate tests – required by Polish and European law. The test results clearly indicate that the compressive strength of walls made of 3E elements is 40 tons. They do not differ from the results of other, traditional construction methods.

Construction in System 3E generates measurable savings. They stem from a significant reduction in the time of construction and, consequently, involvement of the construction team. For example, erecting walls of a typical M2 house with an area of 145 m2 using the traditional method can last up to 14 days, whereas in SYSTEM 3E only 1 day. Bringing such a house to a shell condition (unfinished interior) using the traditional method takes at least 5 months, whereas in SYSTEM 3E – only 3 months (provided, of course, that in the meantime nothing unexpected happens at the construction site). Measurable savings also result from the fact that SYSTEM 3E does not require the use of mortar or insulation. Therefore, the customer does not have to buy additional building materials, e.g., cement or styrofoam. Moreover, SYSTEM 3E does not require employment of qualified construction teams, hardly available on the market. Anyone can build in SYSTEM 3E (after brief training).

Payments can be divided into stages: upon preparation of the architectural design, construction of foundations, walls and roof trusses, installation of windows and doors with internal systems, completion of construction and acceptance of the house. The SYSTEM 3E customer advisers also offer support in obtaining financing in the form of a bank loan.
